1. Project Introduction

The automatic tire grinding machine is a tread fine grinding equipment developed by the company for a Japanese customer. The research aims to develop an DMS-based TBR, PCR new tire outer contour nonlinear fluctuation detection and micro-repair technology, and a fully automatic polishing device that can perform fixed-point finishing of new tire surface bumps. This new tire outer contour repair technology or equipment provides the necessary theoretical support and equipment support services for the study of the use characteristics of the tread in the research and development of the new tire, thereby reducing the research and development and production costs of the new tire industry, and at the same time reducing the waste of resources and protecting the environment.

In addition, the equipment can also grind the tread pattern to a specified depth as required, so that the user can conduct more accurate research on the performance of the tire at different grain depths such as wet slip resistance, rolling resistance, and imprints. At present, the equipment has been applied in many factories and research institutes such as BS and TMSI.
